I'm not an expert but I have eaten at my share of chip stands. And this one's kind of a Mattawa institution. When stopping at a chip stand, I usually expect cheaply priced items made from frozen ingredients, or premium priced items made from fresh ingredients. Rivreview Chipstand unfortunately offers frozen food at premium prices. I will not be stopping there again; next time I will try the tiny-hole-in-the-wall chip stand next to the Voyageur Inn on Main st.!
